After many long dog walks and much deliberation, Sash and I decided to take the plunge and pursue our passions, founding Ruff Day in 2022. Taking inspiration from the outdoors, ocean and our mad dog Brew we set out to create a bespoke product range. Combining British craftmanship, sustainable materials and family values all our products are designed to last many adventures. In the making
Ethically sourced materials
We created Ruff Day as a business that combines our love for pets with our passion for nature. Taking inspiration from long dog walks along the Devonshire coast, we produce beautifully handcrafted items from recycled climbing rope and repurposed marine materials. To help reduce our carbon footprint all of our collection is custom made to your order from our small workshop in Bideford, Devon. This not only reduces waste, but also means that every item is unique and designed to last many adventures.

Repurposed Materials
From repurposed sailing rope, recycled climbing rope and to shredded foam offcuts, we invest in reducing our carbon footprint by giving life to old things.
Bideford Workshop
All of our items are custom made to your order from our small workshop in Bideford, Devon. This not only ensures that those items are unique, but also helps to reduce waste.
Family Tested
Everything we sell is rigorously tested by the Ruff Day family before being offered for sale. All items are packaged by us in store once made to order.
